What is “General Admission”/”GA” and” Standing Room Only” /"SRO?” Why do I see a seat number printed on the ticket?

With General Admission (GA) and Standing Room Only (SRO), you will have access to the area specified on a first come first served basis. You will not receive a reserved seat. In most cases, seating will not be available when you purchase a General Admission ticket, and you will be expected to stand for the duration of the event. Venues sometimes label GA/SRO tickets with numbers for inventory purposes only. In the case of GA/SRO ticket listings, you can ignore the seat number printed on the event ticket.
